Job Description:  
We seek a mid-level NET Developer needed for our client in ST. Petersburg, Florida to join a small team of 3 supporting business applications.  This is a full-time (direct hire) position with a great company and industry leader. 

Salary range: $80k - $92k depending on skills and experience

You will work the full life cycle of an applications gathering requirements from users, designing, developing and testing solutions.

Duties:
• Work with a team of software developers to design, develop, and maintain internal applications.
• Maintain existing software systems.
• Identify and correct software defects.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Perform software development activities including requirements gathering, development, and documentation.
• Gathers, understands and documents system requirements.
• Prepare and participate in regularly scheduled meetings
• Build, enhance, and support multi-tiered web and client server based business applications.
• Design and develop data conversion strategies and programs
• Train end user to utilize new business applications.




Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 -5 + years of proven full life cycle software development experience. 
• Microsoft .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net, MVC
• JavaScript/VB Script, HTML/DHTML
• Experience using ASP.NET UI and 3rd party controls (Telerik preferred)
• SQL Server Database driven applications (troubleshoot and maintain complex SQL, and stored procedures).
• Maintain and support various web services
• Design skills (process flow, data flow, ERD)
• Visual Studio/TFS
• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration or IIS Administration is not required, but highly desired.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferable in Computer Science or similar 10+ years developing full stack enterprise .NET applications within an agile environment
  • 3+ years developing and optimizing MS SQL Server procedures and queries 
  • 4 years + with MVC
  • 2+ years with Angular
  • 2+ years with RESTful services and WebAPI
  • Experience creating & consuming Web Services
  • Must have practical Agile experience including 2 week sprints
  • Some external customer facing experience
  • Familiar with UI framework 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working alongside ‘Type A’ personalities
  • Able to work up to 60 hours to meet development deadlines 
  • Commercial software industry work experience or Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience strongly preferred
